Experiencia fantástica: Our family, a group of 14 ranging in age from 2-70ish had a blast. Ariel, and los dos captains were amazing! The best customer service. Arturo our driver was awesome too. Bacalar 7 Lagoons is beautiful and well worth it to see! We had music, snacks, drinks, great lunch, and beautiful water! Ariel and the captains were knowledgeable about the history of the lagoons! This is a must do!!!!!

Experiencia fantástica: This tour was amazing! We were picked up from our cruise port and taken to our pontoon boat. It was a little over an hour drive but it was perfect napping time. We had 8 people including my kids ages 5, 11 and 15 and our tour was private. The rich history of the area was explained as we toured the area and the two spots for swimming were amazing. Clear and gorgeous waters. One of them shallow enough for my 5 year old to reach as well. They provided an amazing floating fruit tray as a snack and all drinks while on the boat as well as tacos for lunch upon our return to land. We thoroughly enjoyed this relaxing and beautiful tour and look forward to booking again.

Experiencia negativa: Fatal, cogimos un transfer con ellos y aún no ha aparecido y llame mil veces y nadie me cogía. Después nos pasó algo peor, mi pareja es rumana y ellos lo sabían y no nos dijeron nada de que no podía viajar a Belice en un ferry que ellos ofrecen y perdimos todo el día y dinero por ellos. A unos amigos míos les di los pasaportes y casi no les dejan viajar en ferry porque pusieron ellos ofrecen nombre mal. Un verdadero desastre, no contratéis nada con ellos

Experiencia fantástica: Great service! Our group of 11 did the 5 hour private tour and it was definitely worth it. From our booking to our captain our experience was awesome. Communication was consistent and and clear at all times, payment system was simple and easy. We stayed at a lakefront Airbnb and our pontoon was able to pick us up and drop us off on our pier. If you are looking for a trustworthy, clean reliable lake tour this is the place to book it at!

Got to see some parts of Laguna Bacalar that we wouldn’t have otherwise and really enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere. Our guide was great company - very friendly and helpful. He also provided a really nice breakfast of fruit, bread and coffee. Remember to bring cash for payment!

Experiencia fantástica: My family and I had a wonderful experience with Rommel from Bacalar Lagoon Tours. Because Bacalar Lagoon itself was closed for the day to boaters for scheduled environmental rest, we had to tour Xul-ha Lagoon. I was disappointed at first but what an amazing surprise! My husband and I, along with our kids ages 11, 7, and 4, absolutely loved Xul-ha. Rommel was 100% accurate when he said we would. The lake was calm, quiet, and peaceful. Our boat excursion was beautiful and our swim was idyllic in the lake’s calm and beautiful water. We finished with an exciting trip to Los Rápidos, which my family enjoyed. So much fun! What made the trip the best was Rommel, his knowledge of the area, and his amazing hospitality. We had plenty of drinks and fresh fruit, prepared and offered with lots of warmth. The lunch that awaited us upon our return was a perfect end to our lovely excursion. We travelled to Xul-ha from our NCL cruise and Rommel made sure we made it back to our cruise on time. I definitely recommend Rommel and Bacalar Lagoon Tours!

Experiencia negativa: Our family had a 5 hour private tour. Paid 5200 pesos plus 5% cc fee. The good: the lagoon is beautiful and we enjoyed spending the day on the water. The captain seemed to be a nice guy - the company gets one star for that. The bad: 1. checked in advance if we can pay with a cc, and was told yes. Upon payment Rahul clearly preferred cash, and didn’t want to take a credit card, and hence added 5% service charge.. 2. Brought 3 cans of soda (3 kids) though advertised unlimited sodas.. we just thought it was really petty, considering the length of the tour, and the amount we paid. The ugly: captain is a nice guy (should probably not watch TikTok or videos, but considering he could not properly communicate with us, I don’t blame him for being bored) - but didn’t speak adequate English (before booking with the operator, we specifically asked before booking the tour if the guide will speak English, as we really wanted to learn about the lagoon and the history, and we’re reassured that he will) There were so many other tour operations offering more or less the same tour, considering the above we should’ve booked with one of them instead.

Experiencia fantástica: Took pontoon tour. Was greeted at cruise port and took cab to Bacalar. Greeted at the marina and had cooler full of our favorite drinks along with yummy snacks. Great tour and ended with a Great shrimp taco lunch. Highly recommend!

Experiencia fantástica: I took a flyfishing trip with Captain Coleem. It was terrific. He really knows the waters, the fish- and is a great person to spend the day with. He put me on bonefish; the tarpon were not around but we were not really expecting them this season. Also- important to note that Ariel and the team at Bacalar Lagoon Tours are leaders in the local conservation and preservation movement. Highly recommend!

Experiencia negativa: Our experience with this tour operator was disappointing due to unfulfilled promises regarding drone photography. We paid an additional 750 pesos for drone photos, expecting lifelong memories. However, the photographer's drone fell into the water within 20 minutes of the trip. Although he later borrowed another drone, the coverage was minimal. Initially, the photographer reassured us he had sufficient footage, but later admitted most was lost. Gave refund of 200 pesos and made promise to share remaining materials by email on the day of our trip by Mr Raul tour operator whom we met. Follow-ups via WhatsApp led to minimal photo sharing, and a surprise question back to us, why are we asking for the material when we got fully refunded already. We explained it was not true then the person on the whatsapp conversation promised us to make the full refund, but not done it so far and also not responding any more since past 2 weeks. There is no refund or further communication. Accidents happen, but the lack of transparency and professionalism prevented us from capturing our own memories and left us feeling deceived. Avoid trusting their advertised commitments. Updated on Jan 1st 2025: Full refund was offered only in subsequent conversation but refund offer was not offered till date. Respond below gives a false notion of the refund was given but in reality it’s not. Hope the agency keeps their promise and process the full refund soon.

L'organisation laisse à désirer : trop de monde à bord, on se sent serrés comme des sardines, ce qui gâche totalement le plaisir. De plus, le personnel manque de réactivité face aux demandes des clients, ce qui donne une impression d'amateurisme. Une expérience loin d'être agréable et surtout pas pratique. Je ne renouvellerai pas.

It was BYOB & snacks, and they had an ice cooler to keep our drinks chill. One of the best activities we have done in all of Mexico, thank you guys

Experiencia positiva: Excursion prévue en cata mais réalisée au moteur sur un monocoque faute de vent. Luisa, l'hôtesse nous a bien commenté les lieux visités et était très serviable et dynamique. Le skipper, Benito, nous a menés vers 3 lieux différents où nous avons pu nous baigner sauf sur l'île des oiseaux (on était très loin pour voir quelque chose). C'était agréable mais on a payé une prestation bien plus cher alors qu'on n'a pas fait de voile (750 Mx alors que bateau à moteur c'était 450 Mx). Je conseille néanmoins pour le moment de convivialité, le personnel aux petits soins et professionnel et le sérieux de l'entreprise (contact par whattsapp des la réservation).

Experiencia fantástica: Magical place. We started our day with pick up by Armando in Tulum and in 2.5 hours we were in paradise. We are a couple and we did the sailing tour, Our captain was Daniel who as a local knows very well the spots and stories of the place. He also prepared some delicious fruit for us. Then we went to Blue Beach Club to eat and relax and it was very good too. Finally Armando took us back to Tulum, we wish we could have stayed more in Bacalar to see the sunset, so we suggest to stay in the lagoon also after the tour. Highly recommend.

Experiencia fantástica: We mistakenly showed up on the wrong day for our tour. Raul was quick to organize a team to get us out on a boat ASAP. We had an incredible experience in the Lagoons. Our Captain, Antonio, was friendly and extremely knowledgable of the surrounding area. He was able to accommodate a drop off to our hotel. PLEASE check with your hotel if they allow for this, we had to pay an additional fee to the hotel to do so. I'd highly recommend these guys for any tours.

Experiencia fantástica: I highly recommend them. Keep in mind I did a private tour and not a shared one. Our guid Antonio was very nice and accommodating. He speaks fluent English and taught us everything we wanted to know. Boat was clean and very organized. He had some water for us and a cooler with ice. He took us to see very beautiful places and didn’t rush us anywhere. My kids enjoyed and we all had fun.

We only had a couple hours to explore Bacalar since costa Maya was a stop in our cruise. They make sure we took advantage of the time we had. The transportation was on point and the food was great. The tour was completely private for our group of family. We Defiantly want to go back.

Nous avons eu la chance d’être que nous 2 sur la catamaran, et notre guide Hector était super sympa ! Nous avons vu des coins magnifiques de la lagune, et avons fait 3 stops baignade. Pour le coucher du soleil, Hector nous a préparé une assiette de fruits délicieux et très joliment coupés (mangue, ananas, kiwi). Encore merci !

Le temps était nuageux et ne nous a pas permis de profiter de toutes les belles couleurs de la lagune. Mais le moment était agréable. Le tour a réellement duré 2h. Nous avions rdv à 12h30 nous sommes partis réellement à 13h15 et nous sommes rentrés à 15h30 (d'où 4 étoiles au lieu de 5)

But lowering it to 3 because we booked a shared trip and the guy on the dock guilted a private charter into letting us go on their boat. That was uncomfortable for everyone. They were a nice family and we enjoyed hanging out with them but it shouldn't have happened that way.

Experiencia fantástica: Phenomenal experience that we are looking forward to doing again. My sisters and our partners (group of 9) did the sunrise paddle boarding and afternoon catamaran sailing. It was an adventurous-knowledge filled day. Even if you are a paddle boarding novice definitely do the sunrise excursion, you won’t regret it. More than half of the group had little to no paddling experience and were worried about falling, but they all agreed after they would do it again. David, Christian, Andrea and the rest of the crew from both experiences were fun to be with and you could tell they all cared about the environment. Also thanks to Aerial for the amazing communication between booking and getting to the excursions. What made both experiences even better was that majority of the time it was just us. For the boat tour Christian made sure to take us to spots away from groups.

We couldn't recommend enough, the crew were awesome and alot of fun and showed us the beauty of the lagoon with a lot of knowledge about the lagoon. Experiencia fantástica: Nous avons passé une super après-midi avec Hector, le capitaine du catamaran. Il a pu nous montrer tous les endroits magnifiques que peut offrir la lagune sans personne. Et en prime nous avons eu droit à un plateau de fruit devant le coucher de soleil. Je recommande à 100% le tour en Catamaran !!

Experiencia fantástica: We went on a paddle board trip for sunrise and it was the most beautiful and most memorable experience of our holiday! Doing it in the early morning was beautiful; extremely quiet and peaceful. The views were absolutely incredible. We were lucky to get some drone-shots.. looking through these photos I just can’t believe these pictures are real…. It’s like a Google image! You cannot leave Bacalar without having done this. Thank you so much Ariel and David, you were awesome!!! Extremely professional and relaxed company to book your tours with.

Experiencia fantástica: EVERYTHING WAS BEAUTIFUL. We are visiting Mexico for our 8 year anniversary and stumbled across this Bacalar Tour on google. From the beginning they were extremely quick with responses and very professional. They also included so many add ons to make our anniversary extremely special. Our transportation to and from Tulum was included in the price. We enjoyed a private bacalar boat tour for 3.5 hours with fruits, beer, water, lunch, dinner (btw they had a professional makeup artist do our makeup for dinner!), and wine included! We received AMAZING professional photography (including drone footage) throughout our time and really learned a lot about bacalar and the culture. The dinner had amazing views of the lagoon at sunset, truly an experience we will never forget. I would 100% recommend this tour to anyone! For the price you simply cannot beat it.
