The crew of the boat was very good at making it a good experience for our two kids age 5 and 8. The tour ended at the local beach, where the boys had the opportunity to swim.

Experiencia fantástica: Great tour! We booked a private tour, so we could decide what we wanted to see. We saw a lof of dolphins, sea turtles and also whales. The best thing was we were at spots where no one else was. So we could enjoy the whales at all our own. The guys did a great job, explained a lot and we had a lot of fun. Totally recommended!

Experiencia fantástica: 10/10 experience!! Roberto and his guide are super friendly and knowledgeable. We found a pair of Humpback Whales within 10 minutes of the tour. There were other boats around but it didn’t detract from the experience, everyone seemed very respectful giving the animals their space. Then we raced off out to sea and were the only boat to find a pod of dolphins around 100 strong. They were racing the boat and the babies were jumping out of the water, this time almost in touching distance. They later took the boat back to find the Whales as they travelled down the coast and this time we had them to ourselves. Their ability to find lone turtles warming themselves on the surface is almost guaranteed! Couldn’t recommend this tour (Whale and Dolphin Watching) highly enough.

Experiencia fantástica: I surprised my girlfriend for her 30th Birthday with the sunset cruise trip. The captain of the boat was so eager to find us whales and he managed perfectly. We were cruising along with a pack of humpback whales for around 40 minutes and enjoyed the sunset. Everything was Perfect, from the Communication over whatsapp to the pickup and the tour itself. And guys having a boat to yourself does make a big difference. We were faster finding them, listened to our own music and had Drinks with us.My girlfriend had tears of happiness in her eyes THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU

Experiencia fantástica: We were out with Miguel 23 Dec 2024. Miguel is obviously an experienced guy, both at handling the boat and also keeping a responsible distance to animals. First we found 3 whales, amazing. Dolphins were tricky but Miguel was on the radio and phone and went the extra miles (literally) to find some, where we snorkelled despite some waves. This was amazing, so many dolphins in the water, circling around us, under us, going past us. Definitely happy to have paid a bit more for this experience - it's worth it!

Experiencia fantástica: My dad and I did the whale watching tour. This was the best experience we could have imagined! We impulsively decided to take this tour, and even though it was 10pm, Robert still answered the phone and we were booked for the morning tour! We were taken care of from the begging and we spent the day with Israel. He was super knowledgable and though we speak Spanish, he still adapted to the other tourists that were english speakers. We got super lucky and immediately spotted a Whale with her calf, it was beautiful. Israel was cautious and made sure we respected the whale's surroundings. He knew it was best to leave once we saw 10 more boats heading in our direction. We then spotted a HUGE dolphin pod, there must of been 1000. We even got the chance to swim with them! It was a beautiful way to start the morning, and truly a once in a life time experience. Robert was super organized and made sure we were taken care of each step of the way. Thank you.

Experiencia fantástica: Wir hatten eine wirklich tolle Tour. Alles war sehr professionell und pünktlich. Unser Guide Israel ist ein herzlicher und lustiger Mensch, er hat es zu einem ganz besonderen Erlebnis gemacht, sodass wir neben Delfinen und Schildkröten sogar Orka-Wale sehen konnten! Das einzige Minus war, dass wir leider nur von der Unterkunft abgeholt und nicht mehr zurück gebracht wurden. Das fanden wir sehr schade, aber geben deshalb trotzdem keinen Punktabzug, weil wir ansonsten eine tolle Erfahrung hatten.

Experiencia fantástica: My wife and I had an amazing tour of Chacahua. Our guide Pollo picked us up from our hotel in Puerto Escondido, before driving us to El Zapotalito. From there we took an exhilarating boat across the lagoons to Chacahua. Once there we had lunch and enjoyed the water and beaches. We were free to roam and spend the time how we wanted. Once we were ready we took the boat back and drove back to Puerto Escondido, just in time for sunset on Playa Zicatela. Such a fun experience!

Experiencia fantástica: We had a great experience with Roberto and his tours! Great communication, on time (early even! Much to our surprise from our other experiences in Mexico), went to plan and felt looked after! We did the Bioluminescence and turtle release and whilst it maybe cost us a bit more to do this via a tour booked in advance of our trip it was worth it to know that everything was taken care of and went smoothly. The tours weren't particularly expensive in the grand scheme either! And Polo, our driver, made sure we were looked after wonderfully! Would highly recommend and if we're ever in the area again I'll be getting in touch with Roberto!!

Experiencia fantástica: Highlight of our Oaxaca trip. Mike our tour guide is an excellent storyteller and also drove us safely to and from the lagoons. It was really cute how excited both him and our boat captain were about seeing bioluminescence in the water with us even though they see it all the time. The tour consisted of pick up and drop off from lodging, a beautiful sunset/darkness boat ride through the lagoons and then once the captain checked that we were in a good place to view the bioluminescence, we plunged into the tranquil water and hung out under the moon and sky playing with the bioluminescent waters!

Experiencia fantástica: May Germain was our tour guide. This tour far exceeded our expectations. We thought we would be part of a group but instead had our own vehicle and May was our personal guide throughout. He was so knowledgeable and helped us cover more of Puerto Escondido than we could have ever done on our own. We thought we were just checking out a few beaches but were we surprised. Ventanilla was an amazing ecological park that allowed us to learn about the ecosystem and wildlife that exists in that region. We diverted from the itinerary and took a quick hike for some of the most amazing views we’ve ever had. Then we had the fortune to chill out at Playa Panteón where we had the best seafood and drinks. The beach was great and May watched over our stuff so we could run around. Having our own private transport was amazing because by the end of the trip it was great not getting into a crowed van. Definitely a must do…

Experiencia positiva: Great morning of fishing but beware of the surprise ending! Pickup was on time, the boat and gear were of good quality, we were happy to land three sailfish, but after the captain received payment the good vibes ended. We were led to a nearby restaurant where they agreed to grill our fresh catch. This is where we were abandoned and left with a bill consisting of $150/plate to grill, $300 to cut the fish (which the captain kept), and a promised take home portion which had vanished.

Experiencia fantástica: Trusting your money with a foreign tour agency isn’t always the easiest thing to do. I’m always leery of sending money ahead of time to people/groups I’ve never worked with but I took a chance with Roberto’s EcoTours and I’m so glad I did! Roberto is upstanding and integrous. Even when my husband tore his Achilles and we had to postpone our trip for a year Roberto kept our deposit and remembered us a year after and honored the pricing. I love how communicative he is on WhatsApp and appreciate that a lot. We originally booked a whale watching tour but after a great morning with Polo and Edwin we decided to also go on a turtle and lagoon trip with Polo at night. He even helped us detour for a meal in his neighborhood. Being in a random car with a stranger driving you aaround unknown parts of PXM can be nerve wrecking but Polo was friendly, honest and I would recommend him! Polo has many connections around town and is a true businessman. Is there something you want to do? Don’t worry, Polo can connect you with someone to make your dreams come true. It’s probably one of his many cousins . We had a great time, an amazing trip, and would 100 reach out to this company again. I traveled with my two kids and parents and husband and felt safe the entire time.

The next day Polo hooked us up for a dolphin tour, which exceeded our expectations greatly. We saw rays, a large group of dolphins and different whales. The captain of the boat was also great. Experiencia fantástica: What a great experience. We have seen hundreds of dolphins and could swim between them. Wales as much as 20 meters from the boat. The captain was very enthusiastic and eager to make the trip a success for everyone without disturbing the animals.

Experiencia fantástica: We had a magical excursion with Captain Daniel! We saw massive, majestic humpbacks swimming with their calves. Then he found an incredible sight: a seagull resting, in the middle of the ocean!, on a sea turtle’s back. But the real highlight was the dolphins: leaping and spinning, swimming with us, and jumping in unison with their babies. A truly incredible day. Really special!!!

Out of all the tours we did in Mexico these ones were the best. we did 3 tours and all of them are going to be core memories of this trip and we would've loved to do more! The tours are very affordable compared to all the other here, even for us being students. The guides really really care about their clients, especially Polo, who was super friendly, cool and helpful, also explained to us a lot of super interesting details of the place, definitely added something to the whole experience!! We also loved that they were determined to respect the sustainability of the tourism, like not disturbing the wildlife which many tours do not do. In conclusion beautiful experience!! 100% recommended! :)

Experiencia fantástica: We booked a night Turtle Nesting Tour. There was a full moon-but cloudy for part of the time. We rode out to where the Black Turtle had started her nest. It initially was dark and all we could see was the turtle track up from the beach and the sand she was digging her nest in. But with red lights and at a carefully chosen time we were able to watch her lay her eggs and rebury where she had deposited her eggs. The march back to the sea was so primal. The whole experience was truly magical. Even with the language gaps we had with the biologist Leslie. It felt like we were given a glimpse into a timeless ritual while being respectful of mamacita tortuga. We are still in awe thank you!

Experiencia fantástica: We wanted to rent a scooter for our 4 days. Robert brought the scooter to our accommodation the very next day and explained everything. He was always available via Whatsapp if we had any questions. The rental was uncomplicated and quick. The scooter was also picked up again on departure. Only the price could be more competitive in my opinion, i.e. cheaper. We paid 450mxn per day, but in return we got a bigger/more powerful scooter.

Mario nous a récupéré à l'hôtel pour nous déposer sur la plage où se trouve l'association qui protège les œufs de tortues. Il a gentillement traduit la présentation et les explications (uniquement en Espagnol) ! Sinon super réactivité de l'équipe, nous avons réservé pour le jour même, ils se sont arrangés afin qu'on puisse participer au créneau de 17h. Aucune hésitation à avoir !

Experiencia fantástica: We had the most amazing experience doing a dolphin tour with Roberts Ecotours! Not only did we get to swim with hundreds of dolphins not once or twice but three different times BUT we also got to watch the captains catch a huge marlin fish, which they had a chef cook up for us to eat after the tour was finished. Experiencia negativa: Ojo, no contrateis con esta "agencia", no tienen oficina donde reclamar, solo te atiende vía telefónica. Por WhatsApp es un amor, y normal, te van a cobrar el doble y ellos lo único que hacen es llevarte al embarcadero desde tu hotel para ver delfines y ballenas. Si vas directamente al embarcadero y hablas con los lancheros (que al final son los que te llevan, porqué no son de una agencia) te cobran la mitad. En una misma lancha sube gente de distintas "agencias" así que las agencias te cobran por nada. Te recomiendo ir a la playa angelito a las 6:30 y negocia con los barqueros, por 500 pesos puedes tener tu viaje.

Experiencia fantástica: The bioluminescence night swim was an unreal experience - magical and felt like you were in the movie Avatar. You might need to check with the operator if the conditions affect how bright the luminescence is, but we went on a clear night (no moon) in March and it was amazing swimming and lighting up the water. The best part is looking at your skin after it touches the water , seeing it lit up with a thousand glowing little stars. The driver (Polo) and the boat driver (Carlos) were so professional and knowledgeable. Must-do if you’re in the Puerto Escondido area and the conditions are right!

We got picked up from our location, driven to meet with more people to fill the boat to the bioluminescence. The boat ride itself is neat. The bioluminescence were super cool. The guide didn’t speak English but others translated the instructions. Definitely recommend!

Experiencia fantástica: The dolphin and whale tour was a lot of fun and it was my first day in Puerto Escondido so I was impressed. We sighted pods of dolphins and a hump back whale whom was migrating. I could go once again! There is an opportunity to swim and snorkel with the dolphins.

Experiencia fantástica: We were in Puerto Escondido, Mexico between Christmas and New Year's, and we had two great tours through Roberto's Ecotours. I did an early morning boat tour of Manialtelpec Lagoon that Roberto custom made for me to see birds. Boat Captain Edmundo was great, taking me to all the secret, birdy spots, and it was a magical trip. Later in the week three of us did the day/night trip to Chacahua Lagoon with Polo for swimming, sunset and bioluminesence. It was a fantastic day, and we were in good hands with Polo doing everything possible to show us the beautiful place. It was great fun. The staff we worked with was completely bilingual, which was helpful even though we had a fluent Spanish I speaker in our group. I highly recommend Roberto and Polo if you are in PE, they will work with you to get the experience you are looking for!

Experiencia fantástica: I took a solo trip to Puerto Escondido as a birthday gift to myself. My travel agent found the Mazunte, Zipolite, Ventanilla, Punta Cometa tour for me. I was picked up from my hotel by Elio and dropped off as well. The vehicle was clean and safe. I really enjoyed my time at Zipolite, the nudist beach. Elio was knowledgeable and fun to talk to. We even worked on my Spanish together. I definitely recommend this tour. Bring lots of pesos so you can buy things!

Experiencia fantástica: SUCH an amazing sunset horseback riding adventure!!! Horses amazing, guides amazing, views fantastic. Lucky for us we (me & my partner) were the only ones that evening, so it was extra special. Highly recommend!!!

Experiencia fantástica: We did three excursions with Polo as our driver, he made everything so easy! My husband was very impressed by the fishing charter, they caught 15 Mahi mahi!!! Polo went above and beyond for us. He helped us ship coffee and other souvenirs home, and even took us to the airport at the end of our trip!

Experiencia fantástica: Ok, I never typically review tours or excursions, but our group was super happy with this tour company. We went fishing 10 miles from shore and saw hundreds of dolphins, turtles and caught 15 mahi mahi. The Captain and the first mate were just laughing and having just as much fun as we were. It was great to see people proud of what they were doing. The first mate spoke wonderful English and explained everything they were doing and how they were finding the fish. I will never forget that fishing experience! Our taxi driver, Polo, made the trip so much better. He helped us find and buy the gifts we wanted to bring back to the states. He gave us a tour of the area and took us to the best coffee shops. I would recommend taking one of these tours just to get ahold of him at the start of your trip. Having him as a resource during our trip was invaluable! Thank you Pacifico Tours and Thank you Polo!

Experiencia fantástica: Great experience on the bioluminescence lagoon trip. Pickup was quick and easy, our driver was chill and laissez-faire, and the boat trip was excellent. It was a full moon so the bioluminescence was not in full force, but the boat tour has a floating tent setup on the Manialtepec lagoon so it simulates complete darkness. Would definitely recommend this tour -- the drive to and from is where the real value is! Takes out the stress, so you can just enjoy the show.

Experiencia fantástica: We did two tours with and had a great time on both! We did the bioluminescence tour and the night nesting of turtles tour. Both times we had fantastic tour guides who clearly knew what they were doing and went above and beyond to make sure we had a good time. We learned so much! Roberto is very responsive by email and text if you have questions or concerns. We’ll use them again if/when we next visit!

Experiencia fantástica: The most magical experience of a lifetime! We were picked up and taken out on our own private boat, seeing turtles and swimming with hundreds of dolphins as the sun was setting right in front of us. The guides were absolutely amazing and did everything they could to make this the best afternoon we’ve had in Mexico! We can’t wait to come back!

Experiencia negativa: Went to the bioluminescent lagoon. You could see a little bit inside of the tents but I really don’t think it’s worth the money. And also they say they have a guide in Spanish and English. The guide did the first minute in English and then the whole trip in Spanish so we missed a lot of information about the bioluminescence lagoon. So if you need a English guide do not take this company even though they write English guide in the information! Update: I don’t know what he is talking about, we never went on dolphin watching, only bioluminescence lagoon. See photos below.
