Experiencia fantástica: Wow what a experience from beginning to end with Leno. San Javier Mission is the place to go if want to experience history, good food, kindest host and staff in all of Mexico. Our driver was bi-lingual, a great host, knowledgeable, actually grew up there and has an incredible knowledge of history and area. Got to meet Leno' whole family and they welcomed us in to their home and look around to understand how they live. So kind and loving people. They even gave us an avocado from their tree, with a smooth skin, black, soft and all edible. Thank you for a wonderful journey Leni, the best guide we have ever had on a tour. I learned so much and had a great time.

Experiencia fantástica: We used Wild Loreto Tours for our round-trip transportation between Loreto Airport and Villa del Palmar, and the experience was excellent! Our driver, Santos, was absolutely wonderful—very cool, kind, friendly, and courteous the entire ride. What stood out the most was how informative he was. On our way, he shared that Loreto hadn’t received rain since August 2023, and during our stay in 2025 on September 3rd and 4th we actually witnessed the first rainfall in almost two years. ️ It was such a meaningful detail that really added to our trip and helped us appreciate the area even more. We felt safe, comfortable, and well taken care of from start to finish. I highly recommend Wild Loreto Tours for anyone needing transportation in Loreto. If you’re lucky enough to ride with Santos, you’ll have an even more memorable experience!

Experiencia fantástica: I highly recommend this memorable trip to the San Javier Mission. Our tour guide, Leno, was excellent, sharing a lot of interesting and informative historical information about Loreto, the mission, and the surrounding area. The drive to the mission was about an hour, and the tour provided refreshments. We had a lovely luncheon after a walking tour of the mission.

Experiencia positiva: Took 2 tours w/Wild Loreto. Mission tour w/Santos was very good, he is extremely knowledgeable, & a safe driver. We toured the mission as well as the vegetation behind it. Santos also stopped twice on the ride to the mission to show us some wonderful scenery. The lunch at the Mission was terrible. All our food came out cold. Recommend that Wild Loreto try a different restaurant by the mission for lunch. The sunset boat tour was very nice. The catamaran is very small & seating is not the most comfortable but you get fantastic views of the mountains & shoreline. Food was very minimal but fine – chips, salsa, guac, cheese,fruit, & burritos. Drinks were beer, tequila, & rum. No wine – I was very disappointed with the no wine.

Experiencia fantástica: Okay, if you're heading to Loreto and looking for an absolutely incredible experience on the water, I cannot recommend the Wild Loreto Tours Catamaran two-island snorkel enough! Seriously, it was a highlight of our trip. Captain Chalio and his 1st mate, Cristofer, were just fantastic. They were right on time, and Wild Loreto Tours even provided round-trip transportation from the Villa Del Palmar Islands of Loreto Resort to the Puerto Escondido marina, which was super convenient. From the moment we stepped on board, Chalio and Cristofer were so accommodating. They were constantly making sure we were having a good time, even taking pictures for us and cleaning our sunglasses – talk about service! The wildlife we saw was unreal. I'm not exaggerating when I say we saw more dolphins than you can imagine! We even spotted a couple of whales, which was breathtaking. And a really cool, simple pleasure? While we were docked, we got to stand on the deck and hold out food for the seagulls to come and take right from our hands! The vibe on the boat was perfect – great yachting music playing, just making it all feel so fun and relaxing. Chalio and Cristofer were also really informative about the area. The catamaran itself was spotless and so comfortable. It was actually my friend's birthday, and as a complete surprise, Captain Chalio and Cristofer brought out a cake for her! She said it was the best birthday ever, and honestly, it made the trip even more special for all of us. The scenery throughout the tour was just stunningly beautiful. We had a chance to do some paddleboarding off the side of the boat near a lovely beach, and the snorkeling was fantastic too. And let's talk about the open bar! They had a great selection of drinks, including beer, and were happy to make whatever drinks we ordered. The food was delicious too – bean, cheese, and beef burritos, plus chips, salsa, and guacamole. Everything was so fresh and tasty. Honestly, those four hours felt like absolute heaven. It was such great value for the money. If you're considering a boat tour in Loreto, I wholeheartedly recommend this one with Wild Loreto Tours, especially if you can get on with Captain Chalio and Cristofer. You won't regret it!

Experiencia positiva: Be informed - when we arrived at the Loreto International Airport, our resort sent a shuttle for us which included two car seats for the children. We are very happy because we chose not to bring our car seats as we were not planning to leave the property - All excursions are typically beachfront pick up Upon departure-hotel said we did not need to pay for our 1 year old and gave us the option of the hotel shuttle or a private van - we took the private van - I guess I will take responsibility for this. This was my mistake. The person checking us in for the private van - He insisted that we were trying to cheat that we are five people and only booked four - Paying for the additional head was not the issue. The issue came when the person checking us in became fairly aggressive and extremely argumentative. I explained that I did not have access to any of the systems that book the shuttles, We just paid what the resort told us we owed - More importantly when I approached anybody during our trip, I would say three adults a five-year-old and a one-year-old. The hotel staff gave us our options of airport transportation and said the private van would be less expensive and who doesn’t like to try to save money so we booked the private van The person checking us in spoke very good English and again became aggressive and kept saying you booked four people and you have 5 - you have to have to pay $35 cash Again, the money absolutely was not an issue. It was the way it was addressed and the aggression that was shown - and actually, the demand for cash at the door of the bus seemed a little odd He could’ve easily diffuse the situation by saying I’m sorry ma’am the Hotel staff informed you incorrectly, but we charge per head and the baby counts as a passenger This would’ve not been an issue at all, but since he kept insinuating that we were cheating him, it was very disheartening and concerning. As a guest, we had to take charge and defuse the situation - We had to insist on a receipt and paid the $35 so we didn’t have to leave our baby in Mexico ha ha ha - Oh, and another point which is probably the most important the private van does not provide car seats and that is why I mentioned the age of the children- The resort van provided one car seat and one booster seat for the children - so I guess the moral of the story - for transportation always use the resort you’ll get the proper service and care for your Littles We are a family of 12. The parents cover all the expenses for the entire family. These are gifts to our children and they can buy and do as they choose so money is not a problem on these trips. The problem was- It’s the way in which it was handled. Other than this one associate, we have used wild Loreto in the past for excursions and have been very satisfied - next time we will let the resort take us back to the airport

Experiencia fantástica: I booked 2 tours plus an airport shuttle with Wild Loreto Tours on my recent trip to Loreto. The Grey Whale & The Blue Whale trip. The guides/captains on both trips were wonderful, knowledgeable and fun, Chileo & Humberto. I saw over 30 Greys and then had a tasty, traditional lunch of fresh fish. Although we didn’t see any Blue whales, we saw humpbacks and one that kept breaching which was incredible. The staff in the office are also great, I highly recommend this company if you’re looking for tours in Loreto.

Experiencia negativa: We scheduled two separate tours and Wild Loreto cancelled both and were unable to accommodate any other tours for us. We went to Sea and Land and they found a tour for us. We were very disappointed with Wild Loreto.

A perfect day to see dolphins, crabs, birds, sea lions, and coming back in a beautiful humpback whale came swimming up to our boat and flipped his tail right in front of us! If you are going to Loreto - check out Wild Loreto so you can have a fantastic adventure as well!

Experiencia fantástica: We took two different excursions with Wild Loreto: 1st - Blue Whale Watching at Loreto - A lovely trip in Bahía de Loreto National Park venturing to the area between Danzante and Montserrrat Islands. Capitano Christopher piloted us to an area where we saw backs and tails of a few Blue whales, a Humpback mother and calf and perhaps a Fin whale. Surrounding landscape is breathtaking. 2nd - Coronado Island Adventure - Lovely outing with Capitano Umberto and Guide Christopher. We did a complete circuit of Isla Coronado, seeing two playful pods of Bottle-nosed dolphins and the Ca. Sea lion colony. Saw some stingrays, sea turtles, and schools of fish through the almost crystal-clear water. Also saw many birds: pelicans, turkey vultures perched on cacti, osprey on nest. Rock forms on the island were fascinating. We stopped at a white sand beach for lunch and a little time on the island.

Experiencia fantástica: Our amazing tour guide was Santos! We went to go see the whales in the pacific. He made the long drive feel safe and smooth ride. He was wonderful every step of the way! He shared so much knowledge along the way, we are very lucky and thank you so much Santos!!

There were around 5 other boats at the spot and we caught 7 yellowfin while all the other boats were gawking at us while we caught all their fish! Super friendly guide and super knowledgeable, he’s got the skills that you want in a captain!

Experiencia fantástica: Our group stayed at Villa Del Palmar and used Wild Loreto Tours for our transportation to and from the airport and so glad that I chose to go with them. The customer service from the beginning was above and beyond. I spoke to Josefina in the reservations department numerous times. She was very responsive and easy to deal with. Our driver Oliver was the best! He stopped at the store for us so that we could grab some cervasas for the ride and along the ride back he stopped at a beautiful outlook spot so that we could take some pictures. We will definitely book with them on our next Loreto adventure.

We were delivered right the door of the church and later met us where and when requested to get us back. It was a very pleasant experience! I highly recommend Wild Loreto, and ask for Francisco!

The tour was fun, and our guide was very knowledgeable about the area on the way there, in town, and on the way back. We also enjoyed a lovely local lunch and some shopping at the shops there. We highly recommend this tour!

Experiencia fantástica: We contacted Joselino before we arrived. He set us up with the best transportation, private fishing trip for four and private cameraman for 7. All the captins were great. The guys each brought home a yellow fin! Joselino is a special person who wants to share his love of Loreto with you and wants you to have a memorable trip.

Experiencia negativa: My Loreto experience. These people are worst than robbers. I got scammed from my shuttle service to my Villa del palmar Hotel charges. Even with paid round trip shuttle service, they still managed to charge me twice. when i confronted them with my paperwork, they said i will miss my flight if i dont pay. guess what, i paid just to get the hell out of Mexico. My Hotel charged me with serve fees that were not upfront disclosed in the All Inclusive. I spend over $400 in tips. over the years the hotel service has gone to cooperate from "yes no problem" to "no it is not allowed" the food quality is specially bad in breakfast buffet. the juices are watered down, same cheap quality breakfast everyday. The Management has gone from 4+ stars to maybe 1 star. Very bad leadership, and it shows in the service. The help in the Hotel is afraid to lend you personal service, fearing loss of job. And no More Bottle Water! you believe in all inclusive hotel with 105 degree, no bottle water. Shame. Will need to find new location with more friendly staff toward tourists. FYI the jelly fish is real bad in July.

Experiencia fantástica: My group of 10 did the half day private catamaran tour on our recent trip to Loreto and it was amazing!! We all had the best time! Great service from the pick up, beautiful scenery, fun music, drink and delicious lunch. They even had a cake for us since they knew we were celebrating our 50th birthdays! I highly recommend this tour group! 4 of us also did the Isla Coronado tour and I would not miss that if you are going to Loreto! Definitely a big highlight of our trip!! Experiencia fantástica: We used Wild Loreto for Airport Shuttle to Villa Del Palmar with 13 people (including many little kids) they were great with all of us and ALLLL of our luggage. They promptly answered all questions and were very good communicators throughout the planning process. We also went out with Umberto fishing on the boat summer1. Again amazing communication and helped me plan every detail. We took little kids out on the charter boat for their first big fishing adventure. We had an AMAZING fishing day 10 yellow tail to the boat within an hour. He also worked hard to get some smaller fish for the kids to fight. He took us over to a little cove when cleaning the fish and let us and the kids snorkle and swim which was an unexpected surprise. Lunch and Beer/drinks were great and ready for us. I can not say enough good things about this team and company. We were very well taken care of and felt very safe for the shuttle and fishing trip.

Experiencia fantástica: Chartered a twelve passenger van from Cabo San Lucas to Loretto. Six people. Lots of luggage. Sebastian was an exceptional driver and guide. Stops for lunch and restroom breaks. Pacific Ocean views and desert landscapes with mountains, cacti, and the occasional palm clusters. Diverse homes and colorful buildings. Good highway.

Experiencia fantástica: Absolutely top shelf outfit here! From the van ride from Loreto to Puerto Escondido to the captain, and his “deck mate” bartender. Boat was clean, good working order and drinks were included along with snacks/lunch. The crew took time to point out the different whales we saw while keeping a respectful distance. We did a local snorkel (panga boat) to Isla Coronado . Wild Loreto Tours start to finish the best tour. Highly recommended

We misunderstood and thought there would be kayaks but it still was a nice day with Christopher and Capt.! The weather started out rainy and cool but warmed up and got sunny. Experiencia fantástica: Awesome hike up Tabor Canyon. Started bright and early so we were able to take some photos of the beautiful sunrise over the Sea of Cortez. Chalio, our guide, was great. Knowledgeable, friendly and spoke English well for those of us who aren't fluent in Spanish. Hike was scenic, with moderate to difficult climbs in a few parts. Would definitely recommend booking with Wild Loreto. Josefina was super accommodating when we had to reschedule 12 hours before our hike, and helped to make it all happen for us. Experiencia fantástica: Fantastic day on the water. Charli, our Captain, and Christopher, our deck hand, worked hard to make sure our adventure was perfect. There were two stops for a swim, snorkel or paddle in pristine blue waters, a nice lunch and beverages were provided. We'll definitely do this again.

Experiencia positiva: During my recent trip to Loreto Bay, I booked 2 tours with Wild Loreto Tours - San Javier Mission Tour and Coronado Island Tour from Loreto. The Coronado Island Tour was quite disappointing and confusing. We were picked up promptly by the driver to go to the harbour. We were then passed off to another Wild Loreto employee and directed to our boat. This person also did not stay with us. The skipper then proceeded to head towards an island. During the entire "tour", my group was not accompanied by a guide. There was no informative explanation about the island or the sea inhabitants as you would expect from a tour and a tour guide. We did make a trip around the island but as the skipper did not speak fluent English, there was just a lot of pointing. When we arrived at the beach, we were handed lunches, towels and beach chairs. The skipper then departed from the island shore and the tourists were left alone on the beach. There was no mention of snorkel gear - good thing I brought my own. A "knowledgeable tour guide" and "snorkel gear" are specifically advertised on the website but neither were present during our tour. This felt like we were being overcharged for just a boat ride to the island which I could have hired outside of a tour company for less money. The San Javier Mission Tour was pleasant. We made scenic stops on our way to the mission and also visited a ranch. Santos, the tour guide was informative providing a history of the mission and answered questions. The lunch at the restaurant was also nice with several options and we were also given pomegranates, guavas, grapefruits and olives to sample from a nearby orchard. It's a pity that the poor experience with the Coronado Island Tour overshadows the San Javier Mission Tour. I have had phenomenal experiences far surpassing my expectations with other Loreto tour companies for competitive prices. Edit: As per the response I received from the owner, I did contact the director and destination manager. Both promptly addressed my concerns, looked into what happened during my tour and explained the situation to me. They were understanding and professional and I appreciate the time they took to correct the situation. Thank you to you both.

Experiencia fantástica: We met Josefine & Jocelyn at their office in Loreto and both were very helpful and communicated well with us. Originally we wanted to go to Isla Coronado due to its popularity. We were offered the alternative of Isla Danzante and Carmen from another co worker, as she grew up in the area. These tour group sizes were smaller and on a catamaran. It was the right decision and we had the most fun and relaxing experience. Everyone was great and the people we met were easy going and fun. We would definitely recommend your company to others!

Experiencia fantástica: We have taken the shuttle from Villa del Palmar many times to Loreto. Their drivers are professional, curtios, friendly and safe. All of their shuttle vans are new and air conditioned which is nice.

Experiencia fantástica: Went on a half day tour with these guys and it was just great. The scenes we saw were just breathtaking. My eldest got to paddle board with dolphins. They served excellent margaritas and food. We saw sea turtles. Sadly, no whales but that's hardly the crews issue. They were knowledgeable and very laid back. We were in Loreto to celebrate my 50th birthday and when they found out they presented me with a beautiful bottle of tequila. Should we find our way back to Loreto we will certainly go on a tour with this firm again.

Experiencia fantástica: Wild Loreto drivers picked us up at airport, drove us to whale watching on Pacific side -Lopez Mateo-, took us through Loreto Bay and shopping in Loreto and at end of our vacation safely returned to airport. Our adventures were excellent, educational and exciting thanks to expert drivers Santos, Francisco and Jesus. They gave us local flora and fauna information and history. Experiencia fantástica: The Whale tour was amazing from pick up at our hotel. Santos and Francisco our guides made sure everything went smoothly. These gentlemen were helpful at every turn from informing about local cactuses and all the small towns we drove through to get there. Speaking excellent English. Now for the whales you will never get closer to them unless you’re riding on their backs. It’s worth every penny. The tour leaves out of Puerto Mateo Lopez in large Pangas (boats) a lunch is provided at a local restaurant Fish Shrimp Rice tortillas. Not to be missed are how close you are to the whales coming right next to and under our Panga. Thank You Wild Loreto

Experiencia fantástica: We went fishing with Christopher and it was the best day of our trip! Christopher was fun, patient, and such a hard worker. We caught a large variety of fish and ate fresh seafood the rest of our trip.

Experiencia negativa: I had rented a private van and was up charged another $8 for another passenger (with no luggage) my contract said I had a private van for 6- I contacted them and they said that I had to pay an additional $8 over 4. I paid this and explained my frustration (with no response). Associated with this, we were scheduled for pick up and the driver showed up 49 minutes late- making us late for our check in and added more frustration trying to locate them- When we finally got to the airport- it appears that the driver picked up the wrong passengers at the wrong location- I spoke to the management and no compensation or apologies for this stressful situation. This company is the most expensive in Loreto so you expect more than average service- We could have taken another taxi for $25 less - so needless to say we have learned our lesson and will shop around and see better service next time-

Experiencia fantástica: This was a fantastic half day catamaran tour out of Puerto Escondido, just south of Loreto. Snorkeling, turtles, dolphin sightings (up close!), good company, good food…all very professional. I would recommend this to anyone visiting the area.
