Experiencia fantástica: We had a wonderful afternoon on the catamaran! The sandbar is beautiful and sandy, about 5 ft deep where we were. They also had floaties. Martine, Jose, Arturo, and Ulysses are the best hosts. Highly recommend for a beautiful day on the water.

Experiencia fantástica: Our catamaran sail with Marina La Bonita was absolutely incredible! The crew Martin, Arturo, Jose & Ulysses were so warm, hospitable, and genuinely fun—they made the entire experience feel effortless and joyful. & Arturo takes GREAT pics & videos. From the moment we stepped onboard, we felt welcomed and cared for. The sailing was beautiful, the atmosphere was relaxed yet lively, and every detail was handled with such kindness. Truly one of the highlights of our trip—we can’t wait to sail with them again! The snorkeling was even better than anticipated. It was amazing. We were lucky with clear waters enabling us to see all of the colors of the reef and so many tropical fish. It was truly magical. Moments we could never forget.

Experiencia fantástica: We have been to Rivier Maya six times now and always do at least one excursion. I have to say that the Secret Sandbar Catamaran trip was one of the one best we have ever done. We were originally book for Saturday, but the weather was not the greatest. We not only got an email from the manager Jorge saying that Monday would probably be better, but also he called me to explain and ensure I received the email. On Monday morning I received an email saying that he was watching the weather and would let me know shortly. An hour later I received a call that the weather, initially a bit overcast but cleared up once we were on the water, should be fine and that we would be going. I can't express how much I appreciated the constant communication from Jorge putting me at ease that we were in good hands. The shuttle arrived 5 minutes Earley from our scheduled pick up time and the driver, I can't remember his name but I think it was Christobal or Chrisitan, was great pointing out different resorts and telling us what to expect on the trip. We arrived at Marina La Bonita in just over 10 minutes as our resort was close to the Marina. We were dropped off 5 feet from a very nice air conditioned office that had very nice clean bathrooms as my wife need to use them. After a short couple minute check in process we were escorted down a short paved path to the beach. Just a short 50 yard or so walk down the beach and we arrived at the dock where we were welcomed aboard a very nice catamaran. Immediately the crew offered us a drink with a nice selection of liquors and mixers. Many of the excursions we have done in the past offered us one or two drinks over a period of 3-4 hours. On this trip the crew was so attentive and were constantly asking if we would like another drink before we were even finished with the one we had. Once the other two couple that were going on the trip the arrived the captain Martin fired up the engines and pulled away from the dock. Immediately one of the mates Juan gave us a 5 minute talk about what to expect, different sections of the catamaran to hang out in, where the very nice/clean bathroom was located, available drinks/food, etc. He ended with "forget about your jobs, forget about your worries, forget about everything and just enjoy" and that is exactly what we did. During the talk Angel, AKA El Diablo, was making sure everyone had a drink of their choice in their hand. After a gorgeous hour long sail up the coast we arrived at the sandbar where they dropped anchor and put out very large floats. We jumped in the crystal clear water, which was about 3-4 feet deep and enjoyed the day hanging out with the other two couples that were on the trip. My wife grabbed her googles and swam around a bit and climbed up on the float to hang out in the sun. Once it was time to leave we climbed up the ladder and were immediately offer a fresh water hose to rinse off before given towels to use to dry off. Next we were given lunch, which consisted of a really good cuban sandwich, a bag of chips and an apple. And of course we were offered more drinks. On the way back they were able to turn off the engines and put up the sails. We migrated to the front of the boat where we hung out in the netting that they had lined with towels and enjoyed the sail back to the marina. Once we returned to the marina it was a short walk back down the beach to the shuttles that were waiting with the AC running ready to take us back to our resorts. If you are looking for a fun relaxing 4 hour tip this is the one for you. Again I can't say enough about the manager Jorges communication and the entire crew. It will be a day that my wife and I will never forget and we owe it all to them.

Experiencia fantástica: Booking an Excursion through Marina La Bonita is a must! Every person in this company is amazing. We did the Snorkel and Sail. Jorge the manager was very helpful, we visited Mexico as a small group of women and we were nervous about Traveling from Cancun to Puerto Morales, Jorge sent us pictures of the drivers and the van so we could have peace of mind. Our driver Misael was wonderful, we talked the entire way to Puerto Morales, he got us there safely and we had lots of laughs. Jose and Angel were our guides on the boats during the snorkel and they were amazing. The best part about this excursion is it’s not over crowded with lots of people, they only take small groups, unlike other companies. It was so peaceful and relaxing . Do it !!

Experiencia fantástica: I did a lot of research on what to book. There are a lot of catamaran tours in Cancun. After reading reviews of other companies over crowding boats and rushing guests I did not want that experience. I then came across Marina la Bonita. Review is were great and it was a plus it was close to our resort at Haven Riviera. The experience was amazing we had a group of 8 of us and then only one other couple so it was basically a provide catamaran. The boat is large and beautiful. The transport was prompt and in a very nice van. The staff was fantastic and did not rush anyone at any point. You get on and start out to the sand bar which takes about a hour and ten minutes. The sandbar has 4ft depth so you can stand in the amazing crystal clear water and they let you hang out in the water for a good while. The sandbar is not out of the water just so people understand that. Everyone we were with had a fantastic time and I could not recommend this enough. Thank you for giving our group an amazing experience.

Experiencia fantástica: Awesome Scuba experience! This was my first marine dive, but my son has been on many. We had a great, calm day which helped. My son said he has been in places with more animals and better visibility but still really enjoyed the experience. The staff was great to work with and flexible in accommodating us. The responded to e-mails promptly, arranged transportation to/from the hotel, and made the experience simple and enjoyable. The dive master did a great job helping me as a first timer. A photographer joined us and offered all pictures for $50 US.

Experiencia fantástica: This is a place to go to be pampered. Take your pick of relaxation or party. Kid friendly with a warm atmosphere, you’re encouraged and told “this is your boat”. We will definitely be returning. The pictures taken were beyond outstanding and easily transferred as well.

Experiencia fantástica: 100% recomended..We were a group of 8, 4 adults 4 kids ages from 1 to 11yr old.. None of us know how to swim but wanted to feel the experience of traveling on a private boat. The "3 Guapos" this is how the ship's crew called themselves, were so attentive, funny, and awsome to travel with.. They made us feel so safe. Worth every penny spent..Definitely 2019 trip we will be here again.

Experiencia fantástica: Just got back so I want to post while fresh in my mind. We just took the sandbar tour and passed on the snorkeling because we had the entire catamaran to ourselves. This was awesome. The captain and Servie were awesome. They are super cordial and do not cut you short on the alcohol. In fact its just the opposite. The open bar is an open bar. The sandbar is a great area to relax and just chill out. The cost was like 80 bucks including transportation . This lasted about 4 hours but the majority of this time your sailing or in the water. The lunch was a boxed lunch with a sandwich. We took an Aquaworld snorkeling tour two days before this one and this one beats the Cozumel snorkeling tour by far. Stay away from Aquaworld. This company serves their customers better that Aquaworld tours by far. If your in the Cancun area try this company.
