Experiencia fantástica: Gran aventura! Hicimos el tour de San Cristóbal de las Casas a San Juan Chamula en bici. Sin experiencia en bici de montaña el camino es todo un reto, pero totalmente realizable gracias a la paciencia de nuestro guía Mauricio. Los hermosos paisajes hacen que el esfuerzo valga totalmente la pena. Recomendado para las personas que quieran hacer este tour de un modo distinto al que usualmente se hace.

Experiencia fantástica: Did a bike ride with guides Mauricio and Soy to San Juan Chamula and Zinacantán. It was just my husband and I, and it was super fun and memorable. The bikes were in good condition, and the guides were friendly. Hills would be a bit steep for those who don't ride much. The tour was in Spanish only.

Experiencia positiva: Did the tour to Canyon Sumidero, 73km ride plus boat tour. Bikes are good and the guides found mostly a good route, Allein was great. They had a van follow us the whole way which improved safety. My main complaints: - they tried to overcharge me by 100 pesos. Had to show the original price I'd been sent by WhatsApp and then the guide seemed like he'd been caught out - we ended up in a rush and spent 30km on roads to get to Corzo. I don't know if this is the usual route, but better pacing throughout the day would've helped as the first half seemed too leisurely - organization of the boat tour wasn't great as we had no time.to buy food even thought we'd just ridden for 5 hours. Also only a Spanish guide Overall though they're a good company, but need to focus attention on details!

Experiencia fantástica: Our walking tour was well organised and gives you the opportunity to experience typical local customs at two different villages. We have visited two churches and had lunch at a typical family’s place, all entrances and food included in the price. Our guide Fernando was very nice and knowledgeable about the surroundings and the local customs, always making sure everything was going well for us and adapting to our pace during the walks. Would highly recommend.

Experiencia fantástica: Incredible, difficult 73km mountain bike tour from San Cris, to breakfast in Zinacantán, all the way to Chiapa de Corzo on dirt roads through the countryside. Ride ended by doing the boat tour of Canon de Sumidero. Mauricio is excellent. Highly recommend for experienced cyclists or bikers!

Experiencia fantástica: Incredible tour! The route was difficult, but so beautiful! Josue was a great guide, and incredibly knowledgeable about every place we stopped, giving us detailed descriptions of the caves, history, churches, and cultural practices in English. We did the 20km tour and I would highly recommend it! The tour had three stops: El Arcotete, an old 17th century church, and the Grutas Mamut. At each stop, we got off to walk around and explore while Josue gave us a detailed explanation of the history and culture of the area. Going inside the church and hearing all about the practices there was wild! Such a cool place. If you’re not used to the elevation or not in great shape, talk with them about the right tour for you. I know they offer different tours with varying levels of difficulty. With the elevation, 20km felt much harder than I thought it would! Overall, this tour was super fun and incredibly informative! Would definitely recommend!

Experiencia fantástica: We cycled ‘Chiapas ruta de los molinos’ (translates to Chiapas route of the mills), advertised as a 4.5-6hrs tour but we had a small and fit group, so only took 3hrs. Josue, our guide, was friendly and knowledgable. Lovely to be on the bikes, and seeing the caves and the Mayan church. My only advice would be to book on for an even longer tour if you can handle the heat!

Experiencia fantástica: I've just done the biking tour to the caves and the church with Josue ... and it was amazing! It took around 5 hours and we learnt more about the local culture. The tour takes you on dirt roads with views and it is a great way to spend the morning doing sports. I highly recommend it!

Experiencia positiva: Hicimos un hiking con una ruta bonita por las montañas de San cristobal. Tuvimos un inconveniente al iniciar el hiking porque no tenían la reservacion y nos atrasamos. Sería conveniente que el guía llevara un kit de primeros auxilios para lesiones o heridas.

Experiencia fantástica: Josué is an amazing guide. He was super communicative before the tour via WhatsApp. During he was super vigilant about safety on the well thought out track. He made sure we knew what to expect while on the road and made stops to provide interesting info and at intervals he saw we needed. Josué taught us a lot about the culture and practices we were seeing in San Juan Chalupa. I highly recommend any tour with him.

Experiencia fantástica: Loved our 12km walk from village to village, with lunch in a local villages home, which is a real highlight of our Mexico trip. The walking track was slippery/steep in places, so good footwear is recommended. In reflection, we would have contacted Jaguar Adventures and booked one of the various cycling tours to see a little more of the country side and the great people. Thanks Cav :-)

Experiencia fantástica: I booked a mountain bike tour to the nature and we visited three different caves and an old little monastery. With the guide Luis it was like a friend shows you his favourite places. we had good talks, learned to know each other and so all in all it was a wonderful morning. my bike was modern, light and in a very good shape. btw: on our trip we took plenty of time for everything, no time to hurry. sportive, exciting and relaxing.

Experiencia fantástica: We did the mountain bike ride to San Juan Chamula with Josue and it was absolutely fantastic. It's a really interesting ride and way better than going to San Juan Chamula in a tour bus. The ride itself could be challenging at times, given the altitude and some hills. But we had plenty of breaks and Josue was great at telling us when we were about to start going uphill/downhill so we could prepare. Josue also provided really interesting explanations of the church and the local area.

Experiencia fantástica: Great trip with Josué today! My wife and I are not experienced mountain bikers, so we got a good work out! Josué made us feel comfortable and kept us informed about the route every step of the way, and he was very informative about all the historical and cultural aspects of our journey. This was a great experience and as we will be in the area for an extended period of time, we will definitely be asking Josué to guide us on further adventures in Chiapas!

Experiencia fantástica: We did the Ruta de Las Molinas with Josué. The cycling is not too bad, one longish climb to start but nothing too intense, and the rest is fairly relaxed and never too long as you're going between places. The two caves and church that you visit are very nice, and Josué spoke excellent English and was super friendly! Would 100% recommend as a great morning out - you get to see things you normally miss when travelling!

Our tour guide Josué spoke English very well and provided us with interesting information. Woud totally recommend this agency and Josué as a tour guide. If you are up for a challenge, the Ruta de Las Molinas is also very cool.

Experiencia fantástica: Last week we did the bike tour to Chamula. This was so cool! Very nice, friendly and good guides that also told some about the places we visited during the trip. As a decent mountainbiker and downhiller I can advise to have a decent condition as the slopes up and down can get somewhat steep. Definitely would recommend this trip it took us about 4,5 to 5 hours. The bikes were good quality and well maintained. Thanks Josue and Alfredo!

Experiencia fantástica: I did the 3hour bike tour to Chamula. Very recommended. It does go uphill a bit on the way there, but only for relatively short but steep stretches that are manageable, even in the altitude. Bikes are good quality and well-maintained. The guide was very attentive to safety.

Experiencia negativa: I have been cycling for years and I have rented bicycles all over the world and never heard that a mountain bike had to be treated delicately, that I FORCED the gear. Suggesting after I was left 30 KMS of distance stuck with one single gear that I had to pay for the damage? It is a place I will not recommend and will be very careful to leave all your IDs behind

Experiencia fantástica: The bikes are good. Not high-end, but solid MTBs with suspensions, disc breaks and 2x10 drivetrains. I went on two tours with them and we really got to see nice corners, that you wouldn't otherwise find as a tourist. Especially Chamula with it's world-famous cult is worth seeing. The Arcotete Park and caves are also worth seeing. The best is, that you get out of the tourist zone and pass through some truly authentic hamlets (indigenous), where you'll see how the indigenous people who sell their products in the streets of San Cristóbal really live. The guides are super friendly and will tell a lot about the life, history and struggles of these people. You should be aware though that some tours have steep ascends and where it says that fitness is required, that is actually the case.. I saw a few people ending up having to walk their bikes half the way.. some tours also require some MTB experience.. so check with them, before you go. There are also some more tours that are mostly downhill, like to the Chiflon waterfalls.

El kilometraje no es excesivo; sin embargo, es mejor no subestimar la altura indicada en el tour, porque es lo que más cansa a la hora de pedalear. La subida es un excelente reto y la bajada a gran velocidad es una recompensa que vale cada gotita de sudor. El guía Josué tiene mucha informacióm que comparte con las personas durante todo el recorrido, además de que es muy amable y sigue tu ritmo. Atrévete a conocer Chiapas en bicicleta

Experiencia negativa: Booked a sumidero canyon tour with Jaguar Adventours, confirmed twice lunch included and English guide they said yes! Paid 350 Pesos. Of course on pickup no guide at all just Spanish speaking driver, boat trip was Spanish speaking too! Then dropped off at Chiapo de Corzo village no lunch, went to the mercado and had Tacos only 40 min stop so no time to explore the village either

Experiencia fantástica: Super Tour. Ich habe die Los Molinos Tour gemacht. ( glaube dass die so hieß). War super cool und ich hab mich gut aufgehoben gefühlt. Josué ist ein netter Kerl. Ich bin vorher noch nie richtig Mountainbike gefahren und ich muss sagen es war sehr anspruchsvoll und Kräfte zehrend. Die Steigungen sind wirklich krass und man sollte sich nicht überschätzen. Ich würde nächste mal eine leichtere Tour buchen und das rate ich auch jedem der solche Radtouren nicht regelmäßig macht. Es sind nur 22 Kilometer aber die haben es in sich.

Experiencia positiva: We enjoyed the biketour to the Cañon del Sumidero. Bikes are in good condition. The tour was nice, especially at the beginning, as we were passing small villages and beautiful countryside. At the end, it's a relatively long stretch on the road, but it's mostly downhill and traffic is bearable.

Our guide Luis is an experienced local biker, very knowledgeable of the area and the bikes themselves.
